I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) specialist with nearly 15 years of experience helping people overcome panic, anxiety, and fear-based disorders. I am fully accredited in the UK and approved by the BABCP (British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists).

My Background

I worked for many years within the UK's National Health Service (NHS), where I spent my final five years in the role of a High Intensity Therapist (HIT). HIT therapists treat the most complex and severe cases—long-standing panic, intense anxiety, and overlapping conditions. It was during this work that the method behind this book was developed.

Working with patients who had struggled for years—sometimes decades—with panic taught me what actually works. Not the watered-down techniques found in most self-help books, but the intensive, paradoxical approaches that produce real, lasting change.

Why CBT Works

CBT is one of the most researched and effective treatments for panic disorder and anxiety. Its strength lies in practical change: CBT does not focus on endless analysis, but on altering the patterns of thought, behaviour, and bodily reactions that maintain panic.

Research consistently shows that well-targeted CBT can significantly reduce panic symptoms—often in a relatively short time. This isn't about learning to "cope" or "manage" your anxiety. It's about dismantling the mechanisms that create panic in the first place.

My Current Practice

In Finland, I do not provide psychotherapy. Instead, I offer a CBT-based INTENSIVE therapy approach (Change Therapy). The same principles form the foundation of this e-book: panic is not something you merely cope with—it is something you can eliminate.

This intensive approach is different from traditional weekly therapy sessions. It's designed to create rapid change by directly confronting the avoidance behaviours and thought patterns that keep panic alive.

A Personal Mission

Having witnessed hundreds of people transform their relationship with panic, I wrote this guide to reach those who may not have access to specialized CBT treatment. Everyone deserves the tools to break free from panic—not just those who can access intensive therapy.

What This Book Offers

In this book, I teach the same intensive and paradoxical CBT techniques I have used with hundreds of clients. The approach is deliberately direct: you learn to face what you have been avoiding, safely and systematically, until panic loses its power.

This is not theory or light self-help.

It is a practical guide grounded in evidence-based CBT and years of clinical experience. Every technique has been tested and refined through real clinical work with real people facing real panic.

Are You Ready?

If you are ready to change panic, this book shows you how. Not through relaxation exercises that barely scratch the surface, but through the same proven methods used in intensive clinical treatment.

The paradoxical approach may seem counterintuitive at first—facing what you've been running from. But it works. And it works because it targets the root of panic, not just the symptoms.
